Robbery reported on 200 block of Massie Road

University Police responded to a report of a possible assault on the 200 block of Massie Road at approximately 9:51 p.m. Wednesday, per a community alert sent by Timothy Longo, chief of the University Police Department and vice president for security and safety.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers made contact with the caller, who reported that the suspect assaulted him and left the scene with his money, traveling in an unknown direction. No weapons or injuries were reported, and no description of the suspect has been provided at this time.

This is the second community alert this month, following a vehicle fire at Fontaine Research Park Sunday.
