SUMMER SCENES: Sail Boston 250

A fleet of the world’s most magnificent international tall ships and military vessels sailed into the Port of Boston, Massachusetts, Saturday. Part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration, this peacetime gathering honored the city’s rich maritime history, providing educational opportunities for visitors and sailing enthusiasts alike. The ships’ arrival in Boston marked the end of the American voyage, following trips to New Orleans, Norfolk, Baltimore and New York City.
