Rather than trying to beat myself up, I write this all to say that progress is not linear.

May life lead you in unexpected directions, and may you thrive all the more because of it.
For two years, I was surrounded by a group of extremely talented, dedicated people who helped shape my time on the paper and, by extension, my college career
Giving local creatives a platform and sharing my unique takes on media gave me a sense of purpose in the arts community that I hadn’t quite found elsewhere on Grounds.
On a personal note, leading the Podcast desk gave me a newly defined definition of self.
Shelves of donated yarn sit beside bins of fabrics, jars of buttons, half-used tubes of paint and stacks of craft books. All of these materials are sourced from community members and are weighed and priced for resale at The Scrappy Elephant, one of 13 creative reuse centers in Virginia.
The truck has many unique drink options, including their Strawberry Matcha Cloud, Yuzu Sparkling Matcha and a Raspberry Earl Grey matcha latte.
