Students will vote on a referendum to determine if the Student Council president should be able to exercise a veto over the Representative Body. Liam Wolf, a fourth-year Engineering student and chief of cabinet, said he thinks the veto would strengthen  Student Council’s system of checks and balances by imposing that check in the executive branch to a vote of the representative body. The veto could be overridden by a two-thirds majority vote of the Representative Body.
