Feeling at home in Spain ... sort of

When you venture out into the world and study abroad, you are bound to experience a few introspective revelations, such as, "These people talk funny" or, "What's the metric system?" One such epiphany I've had is that Spain and America are the same but different. Don't get me wrong; Spain is one bodacious place.

A different kind of paper

During my time in London so far, I have noticed a higher degree of sensationalism than I am used to in print media - from advertisements and PSA posters at bus stops to the most popular newspapers in the country.

The transition

Last Thursday, whilst serenely contemplating the complexities of my life (aka eating Chewy bars and staring into space), I decided to become a vegetarian.

What

A new year usually brings analysis of the past year's trends and predictions of what will define the coming year.

Life

Sweet memories

My food cravings often involve bittersweet chocolate ganache, sweet and perfectly ripened juicy fruit or a plate of nutty whole wheat pasta cooked al dente that is topped with a spicy-sweet homemade marinara sauce.
