The Cavaliers will have that chance to rebound soon, but Thursday night belonged to UMBC, another chapter in a historical matchup Virginia desperately wishes it didn’t recognize so well.

Next up, Virginia will continue its time on the road Friday to face No. 15 North Carolina.

Whether it was the long travel day or the change in time zones, it was a rough one for Virginia from the start.
But as he hit the ground, Morris took head-level hits from two Wake Forest defenders. The quarterback did not immediately get up.
“It was one thing to see [Virginia] on tape, but another thing to kind of experience that in person,” Eagles Coach Levelle Moton said.
Levy’s plus-minus score of 33 ranked second among all players.
