Virginia women's swimming finished 12th at the NCAA Championships, marking their fourth consecutive finish among the top 12. Ten team members competed at the NCAA meet and nine were named All-Amerians. The women's team returned 19 letter winners.
South Carolina already has one victory behind them this season after they beat the College of Charleston, 143-125 for the men's team and 153-127 by the women.
Former NFL lineman reveals he is gay, concealed severe depression for years
After nine years in the NFL as a defensive lineman, Esera Tuaolo will announce publicly that he is gay in an interview to be published in ESPN The Magazine and aired on HBO's "Real Sports," according to ESPN.com.
Tuaolo said hiding his sexuality was so difficult that he suffered from severe depression, often contemplating suicide, and was one of the major factors contributing to his retirement in 1999. Tuaolo played for five different NFL teams, including an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIII with the Atlanta Falcons.
