Graham to leave basketball team

Coach Debbie Ryan announced Friday that Virginia women's basketball player Cherrise Graham has decided to leave the program and will not be a member of the 2003-4 squad.

The junior guard transferred to Virginia after her freshman season at Purdue. Last year, Graham led the team in scoring with an average of 14.8 points per game despite only starting 10 of 29 games played. She also averaged four rebounds and two assists per game. Graham was named second-team All-ACC.
