Sophomore Fran Crippen earned ACC Male Swimmer of the Year for the second time in a row. For the sixth year in a row, coach Mark Bernardino won Men's Coach of the Year for guiding the Cavaliers to their sixth straight ACC championship. The award was his 11th overall in 26 years with the Cavaliers. Virginia also won both the Men's and Women's Rookie of the Year awards, marking the fourth straight season a Cavalier has won the award.
