Link, Gerfen earn place on All-South Regional Team
Virginia field hockey standouts Mia Link and Katie Jo Gerfen were each honored yesterday with a place on the All-South Regional Team as voted on by the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association.
Link, a sophomore midfielder, led the Cavaliers in scoring in 2004 with 15 goals and five assists.
Gerfen, a senior back, made her third appearance on the NFHCA All-South Regional Team.
