Swimming remains perfect with wins over South Carolina

With a 125-111 victory over the Gamecocks, the No. 14 Virginia women won their fifth dual match of the season in as many tries.

The Cavalier women won eight of 11 swimming events, led by junior Rachel Burke and freshman Jess Lewis who each won two individual events.

On the men's side, the No. 10 Cavaliers defeated South Carolina 126-93 for their fourth win in four meets this season.

Senior Luke Anderson won the 100 and 200 freestyle while Bo Greenwood earned victories in the 400 individual medley and the 200 backstroke.

Both the men's and women's swimming and diving teams compete next on Dec. 4 at the University of Pittsburgh.
