Each week, The Cavalier Daily asks a student 25 questions and allows him or her to eliminate five of them. This week's interviewee is Emily Paarmann, a fourth-year Economics and Music major from nearby Richmond, Va.

Q: What makes you tick?

A: Wow, I don't really know how to answer that. Good music I guess. I like listening to jazz when I'm hanging out doing work or just by myself.

Q: Favorite kind of cookie?

A: Oatmeal raisin.

Q: Favorite Magazine?

A: Cosmo, although I don't have a subscription. I always just buy them.

Q: What was your favorite class in high school?

A: Biology
