Stars twinkle, but games stink

Did you see Dwight Howard's Superman dunk Saturday? How about Gerald Green blowing out the candle on a cupcake above the rim while throwing down an alley-oop? I'm sure many of you did, or at least wish you were able to, watch the NBA Dunk Contest. It's one part of the All-Star Weekend that is actually exciting ... unlike the game itself. All four major sports have all-star games, and none of them really matter to fans. They're boring, plain and simple. For the sports that have other all-star weekend events, however, all fun is not lost. Skills competitions, home run derbies, etc. are all entertaining for real sports enthusiasts. From worst to first, here is my take on each sport's all-star festivities.
