Signs allow students to track buses by phone

University Transit Service recently introduced new signs at bus stops across Grounds that could allow riders to better estimate their wait time.
Each sign includes the 5-digit GPS number for the stop as well as a phone number riders can call to determine the location of the next arriving UTS bus and the estimated wait time until its arrival, UTS Operations Manager Juwhan Lee said.
Another change for UTS this fall is the implementation of the revised bus routes planned last spring. The route changes took effect Aug. 11, according to Lee.
