University programmers resolve Safari, SIS functionality issues

Estimated reading time: 0 minutes

Users of the Internet browser Safari can now access the Student Information System, said Teresa Wimmer, SIS technical director and project manager.

Previously, SIS could not provide Safari users with full functionality, as the browser would lose track of cookies, Wimmer said. This made it so that Safari could not interact with SIS. Recent adjustments to SIS by University officials, however, seem to have addressed the problem, Wimmer said, as Safari users have not reported any problems accessing SIS since the changes were made.
