Men prefer curvy women

In a study at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, researchers asked male participants between the ages of 18 and 26 to evaluate pictures of female faces for health and attractiveness. Contrary to the commonly accepted belief that skinny is better, the study found that women in the "normal" weight range were judged to be healthier and more attractive than under or overweight individuals. The study also found that just like their underweight counterparts, overweight women were found less attractive and more prone to poor health. All in all, researchers found a positive message in the results of this study: It is best for women to aim to be in the average weight range instead of striving to look like super-slim celebrities.
