New buildings cause detours

Construction will occur on Culbreth Road between Feb. 14 and Mar. 13, according to a University press release. Traffic barricades will be used to block cars from the entrance to the Arts Parking Garage to Ruffin Hall. Motorists will still be able to access the Drama building via University Avenue. Likewise, detours will require drivers to use Rugby Road to reach Zeta Psi and Ruffin Hall .

The disturbance stems from the construction of the marching band rehearsal hall and the nearby Ruth Caplin Theater. The new rehearsal hall, located adjacent to Ruffin Hall, will contain a 4,000 square foot rehearsal space as well as practice rooms and teaching areas. The new theater will feature a thrust stage
