UPC announced via their Instagram that it will give away tickets to the DaBaby concert in March at JPJ.

The University Programs Council announced in an Instagram post Monday afternoon that it will give away a pair or pairs of tickets to the DaBaby show at John Paul Jones Arena on March 14. All University students are eligible and the winner will be required to present their computing ID.

JPJ announced the concert on their Instagram Dec. 17. The North Carolina rapper had a breakout year in 2019, releasing his debut studio album “Baby on Baby” in March and his second, entitled “KIRK,” in September. His hit single off “Baby on Baby,” “Suge,” has over 290 million streams on Spotify. He was also named to the 2019 XXL Freshman Class last summer, which highlights many of the rising stars in the industry.

In order to be entered in the giveaway, students must follow UPC and JPJ on Instagram, like the UPC post about the giveaway, and tag three friends in the comments section of the post. Students are only allowed to enter once.

UPC sponsored a similar giveaway in December for The Lumineers concert, which will be held at JPJ Feb. 16. That post had over 370 comments. As of Tuesday evening, the post announcing the DaBaby giveaway had over 630.

UPC also gave away tickets to the Ariana Grande concert at JPJ in November. The giveaway was again announced on Instagram, this time on the day of the concert. Tickets could be claimed with student ID at the PAC in Newcomb for the show that night.

According to the UPC post, the deadline to enter the DaBaby ticket giveaway will be Monday, January 13 at 11:59. Winners should be contacted by the following Thursday.
