19-year-old Isaiah Anderson was arrested Monday in connection to a disorder with a weapon incident that occurred at Runk Dining Hall Feb. 17. Anderson was charged with brandishing a firearm and the unlawful carrying of a concealed weapon, per a release from Deputy Chief of Police Bryant Hall.

In the Feb. 17 community alert sent out to the University community, an employee at Runk Dining Hall reported having an argument with a co-worker, who then lifted their shirt to show a handgun in their waistband. The employee reported that the suspect never removed the gun from their waistband.

The University weapons policy prohibits all students, faculty and staff from carrying a weapon on University property, regardless of whether an individual maintains a concealed carry permit.
