To encourage a response from University administration, students from the RSGSA — in coordination with other groups across the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences — launched the #6AsksUVA campaign.
From a podium at the Rotunda, University President Jim Ryan and 12 University deans conferred degrees to all those graduating.
“U.Va. is not just academic coursework, it is a cohesive experience made amazing by so many awesome people … and I don’t think anyone will take that for granted going forward,” said graduate Ben Borenstein.
