Film 2000:

I do understand that with only 11 months out of the way, a list acknowledging the best and worst of film this year seems a little premature. But that won't stop me from continuing with such a list.

Unfortunately, there really isn't much to say. Yes, there definitely has been some good and some bad, but, overall, 2000 seems poised to end with a whimper rather than a bang, and that's the ugliest thing about this whole year.

Before I sound like a grouch, I'll start heralding the good. Surprisingly, this year has broken through the glass ceiling, providing more female performances of note than male ones.
