Film 2000:

I do understand that with only 11 months out of the way, a list acknowledging the best and worst of film this year seems a little premature. But that won't stop me from continuing with such a list.

Unfortunately, there really isn't much to say. Yes, there definitely has been some good and some bad, but, overall, 2000 seems poised to end with a whimper rather than a bang, and that's the ugliest thing about this whole year.

Before I sound like a grouch, I'll start heralding the good. Surprisingly, this year has broken through the glass ceiling, providing more female performances of note than male ones. But much of their work goes into planning summer orientation sessions. Funlola Fagbohun, associate director of the first year experience, describes her experience working with OTP and how she strives to create a welcoming environment for first-years during orientation and beyond.
