Reams is running a campaign based solely on the issue of marijuana reform. Reams believes marijuana prohibition has gone too far and he wants to send the message to the General Assembly that Virginians want change. His campaign is a referendum or "reeferendum" for less government control over marijuana. He has not taken a position on any other issues because he wants a vote for Gary Reams to be essentially a vote for marijuana reform.
