Earley is campaigning on the theme of a "Promise for Virginia." He wants to improve the promise of every life in the state by protecting individual liberties and happiness.

On the Issues

Higher education: Earley pledges to set up a $1 billion bond for building projects at Virginia's colleges and universities. He also supports the tuition freeze the General Assembly implemented in 1999 for in-state students at Virginia public colleges and universities.

  • Northern Virginia tax referendum: Earley would not support a tax increase to raise money to solve Virginia's traffic problems because he has an alternate plan, which would not require a tax increase.
