Women's basketball alumna honored

Virginia alumna Wendy Palmer-Daniel was selected to be honored at the 2005 ACC Women's Basketball Tournament in Greensboro, NC, as a member of the inaugural Legends class. One alumna from each ACC school was selected for this class. Palmer-Daniel was the first player to notch over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career at Virginia. She is in her 8th season playing in the WNBA and is currently a member of the Connecticut Sun.
