The story of the real-life CavMan

The reason why I love the pregame activities before kickoff of Virginia football games is because I am certain we are going to win. After watching CavMan before the Virginia Tech game last fall, I remember jumping up and down, screaming to my buddy about how we were going to blow the Hokies out of Scott Stadium. While this prophecy turned out to lack any predictive legitimacy whatsoever, there is an incredible feeling of invincibility for our football team that we, the fans, experience after watching CavMan, the Power V and the mounted Cavalier.

You know who I'm talking about: the guy who comes out of the tunnel on the horse, and circles the field waving his sword while igniting the crowd.

Last week I didn't even know the mounted "Cavalier" existed. I simply thought we had two CavMans -
