Kellogg on the Dirty

As Family Weekend approaches, many students look forward to seeing their parents and family members again after a long absence. What students should be looking forward to, however, is the coming of Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers to The Satellite Ballroom this Saturday.

Charlottesville's Satellite Ballroom is one of many stops on the Dirty Ol' Fall Tour. Though Kellogg is honestly unable to remember from where the name of the tour came, he did have something very interesting to say about the naming of a tour.

"Naming a tour is like naming a baby," Kellogg said. "You just know."

When the suggestion for the name of the tour came up, it apparently just clicked.

"Every tour is a unique experience with its own goal," Kellogg said, describing this tour as an experience in which the Sixers no longer have to open for other bands, constantly "watching their watches."

Kellogg described opening as a bit of a circus experience, complete with humming a circus
