Golden Globe nominee proves love is not just for Facebook users

It is fitting that one of the more humorous Facebook relationship statuses also titles a film that was nominated for the 2010 Golden Globe Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical award. It's Complicated - the movie, not the status - probes into the messy subject of divorce with surprising flair, with both a strong cast and dialogue fueling its comic drive.

Meryl Streep and Alec Baldwin play Jane and Jake Adler, a divorced couple rekindling the old flame a decade after separating. Jane finds herself the "other woman" as Jake cheats on his second wife, and she faces the difficulty of choosing between latent feelings for her ex and new ones for her architect, played by Steve Martin.

What the movie lacks in developed plot and theme, it makes up for in a stellar cast. Jake Adler is infused with much of the suave wit Baldwin brings to NBC's
