Former Cavs thrive as pros

Several former Cavaliers now playing in the NFL enjoyed offensive success this past weekend. Texans quarterback Matt Schaub led Houston to a 30-27 victory in overtime against the Washington Redskins. Schaub went 38-52 for 497 yards with three touchdowns. The Cavalier great was drafted in the third round by Atlanta before being traded to Houston in 2007.

Continuing the offensive onslaught was Falcons running back Jason Snelling, who got the nod after Michael Turner and Jerious Norwood both went down with injuries. Snelling was one of Atlanta's seventh-round draft picks in 2007. He proceeded to rush for 129 yards and two touchdowns while catching five passes for 57 yards and another touchdown in Atlanta's 41-7 win against Arizona. The former Cavalier will look to get more playing time in the wake of Turner's injury.
