Police apprehend man at Clemons

A man was arrested Thursday evening after two students and a library employee reported seeing a male who appeared to be masturbating on the fourth floor of Clemons Library.

The police report stated that he was engaging in the obscene behavior while "viewing what appeared to be pornography on a laptop computer."

University Police responded to the incident around 8:10 p.m. and charged 28-year-old Anthony Daniel Landram with one count of obscene sexual display.

Landram was released on an unsecured bond and is scheduled to appear in Albemarle County General District Court Thursday, according to the report.
