A robbery was reported Wednesday night at 1400 University Avenue, near the intersection of 14th St. and University Ave.

A robbery was reported near the Corner Wednesday night, according to a University-wide Timely Warning alert. The male victim reported to University Police two men approached him at 1400 University Avenue — near the intersection of 14th St. and University Ave. — and one physically attacked him before the two individuals fled the scene.

The report stated the suspect who attacked the victim also displayed a firearm in his waistband to the victim before leaving.

The two suspects were described as Black or African American and six feet tall. According to the report, one of the suspects was wearing a black hoodie and had a short beard while the other was wearing a black t-shirt.
