The Executive Committee consists of 12 members who oversee the trial process and manage the UJC’s operations.
Open positions include director of coalition engagement and director of mutual aid.
The Committee spent most of the meeting discussing members’ goals for the term, with Bray sharing that she will use the goals to form a “road map” for the Committee to follow.
Cain said she was heartened to see a diverse representation of communities in this leadership team.
The bylaw will require there to be an in-person quorum for remaining members to attend virtually and members who wish to attend virtually must have their reasoning approved by the chair.
Cain spoke about the communities she hopes to empower during her time as President.
Ultimately, Chambers was disappointed in the committee’s failure to complete some notable tasks, held back by a failure to meet meeting attendance requirements.
By-law revisions included certifying the results of recent executive committee elections and eliminating the interview response period.
Kim will be succeeded in her position by third-year College student Nabeel Raza.
Previously, both organizational and individual student case data could only be publically shared through statistics that generalized cases without revealing identifying information.
