Dean Michael Citro to leave Office of the Dean of Students

Assistant Dean of Students Michael Citro, director of Student Organization Support, will leave his position at the end of the semester to start a new job in the Office of the President. Citro will cease to oversee Student Activities and Fraternity and Sorority Life and will deal instead with the University’s external relations.

Gerrard's time-honoring tears

Following his Liverpool side’s 3-2 triumph over fellow league title challenger Manchester City, Steven Gerrard’s eyes began to leak. Gerrard lost control of his emotions at a juncture when the threat of losing out on the league crown remained quite prevalent. If you know anything about Gerrard’s story, however, you’ll forgive the man a moment of emotion.


	Sophomore attacker Kelly Boyd and the No. 15 Cavaliers play Virginia Tech Wednesday night in their final game of the regular season. Virginia appears to be playing its best lacrosse of the year, with four wins in its past five contests.

Women's lacrosse battles Hokies in Blacksburg

The No. 15 Virginia women’s lacrosse team enters its final regular season game against Virginia Tech Wednesday with a lot on the line. A win against the archrival Hokies would secure not only a year’s worth of bragging rights, but also a likely berth into the NCAA Tournament.

Student Council passes sexual assault resolution

The Director of the International Studies Office, Dudley Doane spoke at the student council meeting Tuesday night. Doane spoke about a new initiative that will hopefully be launched at the University in the near future, as well as the importance of study abroad and international students at UVa and encouraged semester-long study abroad programs.
