"So, I've been deciding what to be for Halloween. Like any good friend trying to help, my housemate emerges from her room with eight -- count them, eight! -- corsets in varying shades of sexiness. The question I'm facing now is: if I wear a corset, what can I be other than your standard Rugby streetwalker? So far, I've come up with 'woman having trouble breathing' and 'Victoria's Secret catalogue, page five.' "

"I passed some of the trick-or-treaters on the Lawn on Halloween, and they were all so adorable. I so wish that I was still an acceptable age to go trick-or-treating. It is completely unfair that just because I am 20 years old I can't dress up like Cinderella and beg people for candy. Candy is a sacred human right. Especially free candy. Especially Reese's. Those are my favorite.Yum. As for me, I went trick-or-treating until I was a sophomore in high school and by that time I was going alone, since all my friends were 'too cool' for that, and people were refusing me candy at their own doors! It was tragic!"
