Thirteen named to 2003 Hall of Fame class

Barry Sanders and Joe Theisman are among 13 players named to this year's College Football Hall of Fame class. The new class will be inducted on Dec. 9 in New York.

Theisman threw for 4,411 yards and 31 touchdowns at Notre Dame from 1968-70. He also set 19 school records and left the school ranked second in team history in passing.

Sanders ran for a record 2,628 yards and took home the Heisman Trophy in 1988 at Oklahoma State. In three years with the Cowboys, Sanders totaled 3,797 yards and scored 55 touchdowns.
