Virginia women's basketball coach Debbie Ryan announced yesterday that junior forward Kelly Hartig has transferred from the University, citing academic reasons. Hartig started in 32 games last season, averaging 1.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. She will attend University of Colorado-Denver this fall, where she does not plan to continue playing college basketball.
