Female footballers prepare for Terps

After losing 2-1 to Virginia Tech last week, the Virginia women's soccer team dropped to 6-3-2 overall and 1-2 in the ACC. The poor conference start for the team comes after a difficult pre-conference schedule.

The Cavaliers, however, hope to bounce back as they face Maryland in their third straight home game today. Both teams are now unranked, as Virginia has fallen out of the national rankings after its loss to the Hokies and a loss to N.C. State two weeks ago. Maryland boasts a 9-2 overall record, but its two losses have come in the ACC, giving the Terrapins a 1-2 conference record.
