24/31. 271 yards. Three touchdowns and zero interceptions - Brett Favre's stats on Monday Night Football this week.

Just thought I'd get that out of the way. I do my best to put into words the fantastical nature of the NFL, but at some point you have to see it to believe it.

Let me just throw in a few things that made the Packers-Vikings game in Week 4 so awesome. Favre - the wayward son of the Green Bay franchise - now donning the uniform of a purple people eater, the Packers' division rival, the Minnesota Vikings.

Not only did he get a chance to face his old team, but it was the only one of the 32 teams in The League he had not beaten in his 18-year NFL career. Guess he can notch that one on his belt.

The game was Favre's 272nd consecutive start, and the last game Favre would play on the good side of 40. With Aaron Rodgers under center for the team opposing Favre, the game reminded me of the final light-saber dual between Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi.
