Cheating honor

A considerable amount of students at the University continue to flagrantly disobey the honor system

The foundation upon which any university stands is the integrity of its academic process. Events stemming from the Spring 2008 semester have forced me to conclude that at the University of Virginia the majority of students have little regard for the integrity of the academic enterprise.

Honor Committee Chairman David Truetzel was absolutely correct when he stated that, "it is an inexcusable honor offense to discuss exam content at all if the professor has explicitly forbidden it."
