As this is my first sports column for The Cavalier Daily, I will briefly describe myself as a sports fan. First, I am from Long Island, N.Y., so I am naturally a New York sports fan. Before many of you dismiss me for being a heartless Yankees fan, let me be clear that I despise the Evil Empire and have been an avid fan of that other baseball team from New York, the Metropolitans, since before I took my first steps. Football in New York is quite a different story
