Five-time champions seek to make it six

No. 2 Cavaliers to face Auburn in National Team Indoors; 2011 outdoor champion USC lurks ahead

The No. 2 Virginia men's tennis team looks to win a record fifth consecutive title in the ITA Indoor National Championships this weekend. The squad begins the tournament tonight against No. 16 Auburn at the Boar's Head Sports Club.

For coach Brian Boland, the tournament provides a barometer of the Cavaliers' progress as he strives to guide the team to its first-ever outdoor national championship in May.

"This will give us a gauge of where we're at, and we're obviously looking forward to it,"
