The Cavalier Daily
Serving the University Community Since 1890

Cheaper by the dozen

This is the first time I have written for The Cavalier Daily during my three-and-a-half years serving the paper. This is also the last time ... except that one time I wrote Colonel Muammar Qaddafi (Gadaffi? Kadafi?) was speaking at the Rotunda. But he's dead now, and that was never going to happen anyway.

Also, this piece is not for "my readers." It's for me - let's make that clear up front.

(20)12 people, places, things, events I will miss most about my University experience:

12 A certain professor in the politics department

11 Virginia men's basketball - GOOD LUCK TONIGHT, BOYS! HOOOOOOOS! All of you were so fun to watch this season. I already look forward to the next.

10 Littlejohn's - Five Easy Pieces, enough said.

9 Also Bodo's Bagels. The Virginian. Boylan Heights... The Corner - good food, better memories.

8 Free gym membership - I had to say that after two points about eating. Also, free stuff in general. (On an unrelated note, I understand that nothing is free in this world.)

7 "Mystery in Margaritaland" 2011 - Most fun I have had Halloween night. And that includes the times I dressed up as the pink Power Ranger and as myself.
