Another Hoo is heading to the NBA.

On Thursday night, former Virginia guard Devon Hall was drafted in the second round by the Oklahoma City Thunder with the No. 53 overall pick.

Hall had a breakout career at Virginia. Known for his work ethic, the 6-foot-5 Virginia Beach native redshirted his first year and played in 23 games in his second. For his last two seasons, though, Hall became a hallmark of the Virginia offense — starting in all games for the Cavaliers.

This past year, Hall averaged 11.7 points per game while shooting 45.4 percent from the field. Against NC State in January, he had arguably one of his best games as a Cavalier, as he scored a career-high 25 points.

Hall joins several other former Cavaliers in the NBA and is the first to be drafted since 2016, when Malcolm Brogdon — who went on to win Rookie of the Year — was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks.
