No. 1 Cavaliers outlast No. 9 Notre Dame in double overtime

The No. 1 Virginia women’s soccer team survived its first overtime scare of the season Thursday. The Cavaliers outlasted fifth-ranked Notre Dame 3-2 in double overtime in front of a record crowd of over 2,800 people. “We got record attendance even with it pouring down rain,” junior midfielder Morgan Brian said.

MINOT: Doubling the standard

The lack of a public response to the Guides incident from the administration, the Guide Service and this newspaper is reprehensible. Hazing should be unacceptable regardless of who perpetrates it and we should not shy away from holding some institutions accountable for the sake of tradition or discomfort.
