Tennis finds way to win against Penn

The Virginia women's tennis team won its final two matches Sunday to sew up a 4-3, come-from-behind victory over Pennsylvania and improve its record to 2-1 overall.

The Cavaliers dropped two of three doubles matches and trailed 1-0 heading into singles play. The doubles pairings of Christie Schweer and Henriette Williams, and Jennifer Tuchband and Kelly Weaver both lost, while Amy O'Donnell and Christine Kim won for Virginia. Weaver and Tuchband avenged their doubles defeats by winning their matches in straight sets, but freshman Laura James and Schweer dropped the next two matches to leave the Cavaliers down 3-2.
