Anderson named ACC Swimmer of the Week

Cavalier men's swimmer Luke Anderson was selected as this week's recipient of the Atlantic Coast Conference's Swimmer of the Week. This is the second consecutive week Anderson earned the honor, and the fourth time already this season.

The No. 10 Cavalier men dominated in a home meet against ACC foe No. 19 North Carolina, winning 12 of 13 events.

Against the Tar Heels, the All-American sprinter won the 50 meter freestyle in an ACC season best 20.02 seconds, as well as the 100 meter free. Anderson also anchored the leg of the Cavalier 400 meter freestyle relay.

Anderson and the Cavaliers will travel to Gainsville, Fla. to play in a dual meet against No. 2 Florida on Friday.
