Come together

With four ACC games in eight days, it hasn’t been easy for Virginia. The Cavaliers have had to grind out wins much more than they did earlier in conference play. They have not had the luxury of lofty first-half leads, forcing them to rely on their depth to outlast teams and pull away in the second half.

BURKE: A sport by any other name

By prioritizing the economic importance within collegiate athletics, you are disregarding the founding spirit and original purpose of them, which is to educate individuals about sacrifice and teamwork, to encourage them to push their physical and mental limits, and to ingrain lifelong habits of discipline and strong work ethic.
