Virginia blunders in tourney semis

Sixth-seeded Virginia defeated third-seeded Wake Forest in the ACC Tournament Wednesday before losing to eventual tournament champion Maryland in the semifinals Friday. The Cavaliers knocked the Demon Deacons out of the tournament thanks in part to junior midfielder Hunter Jumper's first goal of the season.

Cavs hope to rebound against VT

After a hard-fought match against in-state foe James Madison, Virginia heads back into conference play tonight to face ACC rival Virginia Tech. The Cavaliers (8-2-2, 1-2-1 ACC) endured an arduous, scoreless 110 minutes against JMU (7-2-2, 2-1-1 CAA) Tuesday night.
